First things first, it is essential to ensure a correct diagnosis of the mole or skin lump before attempting to remove it. Often, benign moles and lumps can be diagnosed clinically. Dr. Kim is experienced in diagnosing skin lumps and moles. If the diagnosis is confirmed, you can have your lumps and moles removed on the same day as the consultation.

If there is doubt, a skin biopsy is recommended. In cases where pathology diagnosis is necessary, Dr. Kim will provide you with skin biopsies on the same day as the consultation. Typically, the results take one week to return. You will be asked to return for a consultation after one week.

Once the diagnosis is confirmed, most moles and lumps can be removed on the same day.
